Grandma & Grandpa Ward came to visit us from Arizona.... We had a wonderful weekend with them. They came Friday August 3rd and stayed thru Sunday Aug 5th. 
Three Generations
It looks like we finally know where Braydon got those gorgeous blue eyes.... From his Grandpa Ward!
Time has flown by since I last posted.... We have been very busy, and to not overwhelm anyone, I will post a few at a time over the next few days, so keep coming back to see what we have been up to this summer. But here is a re-cap without pictures.....
A little over a week ago, Grandma got sick and spent a little over three days in the hospital with fluid on her lungs.... It was quite the scare, as they think because of the stress of it all, that she possibly had a small heart attack. She has an appointment on this Friday with her heart Dr. at KU Med Ctr.... Prayers are appreciated that all is well!
Doug's Dad & Step-Mom Janice, came and visited with us. We had a wonderful visit & wish that we could spend more time with them.
We spent this past weekend at The Lake of The Ozark's with the Russell's - We had a GREAT time and really wish we could stay longer.
While we were there I learned that Braydon has inherited one of my habit's! He talks in his sleep - Yep, a two year old sleep talker! It was very plain at 2:00am, when he started talking and I thought he needed something and peeked in his bed and he was laying there, eyes closed and chatting away! I did giggle a bit, as it was so cute and much better than what his big brothers did, they grinded their teeth!
Some may know, but I left Social Suppers and went back to work at Americo Life. It was a difficult decision, but has been a good one for us. We put Braydon in a pre-school/child care and it took a bit, but he has adjusted and is doing really well. He is talking up a storm now and putting sentence's together.... My favorite sentence is when he says "Daddy, Open the Door". His little voice is just so cute! I will try to catch it on video and post it so everyone else can enjoy too.
Anyway, over the past three month's I have been working in the New Business department of Data Imaging. I work with a great group of people, and have made many new friends too. But as of last week, I have accepted a position within the HR department. I will be working the front receptionist desk and doing admin work for them as well. This is not what I used to do, but I think that it will actually give me more opportunities for growth and I can not wait to move into the new position on 8/27.
