Memorial Day Camping

We went camping at Wallace State Park this past weekend. We had a blast... We only had a bit of rain, and the rest of the weekend was beautiful! Here are some pictures and a few captions!

Daycare Update & World's of Fun

First for Braydon's update on how he did at his new preschool/childcare this past week....

• He went on Wed & Thurs. On day one he did really well, and only started crying about 20 minutes before I arrived to pick him up. Day Two was a little harder.... He cried off and on from lunch until daddy picked him up. The teachers said he did play and nap, but just cried and would call for us, then would play some more.... So this next week will be interesting to see how he does.

Secondly - On Friday we had the chance to take Braydon to World's of Fun.... Well, he did not particularly like much about what you can do there, but did enjoy watching. We started off by going to Camp Snoopy and the train....

He let us take him to it, sit him down, buckle him in and then he cried when we walked away. So we took him off, and we looked at the other rides and he just kept saying "no" and shaking his head no....

So we then ended up at the big train and he really did not want to go on it either, but we did ride it after we told him we were riding "Thomas", LOL. It seemed to work, but he hardly smiled.

We finally went to the carousel. Again he rode, but no smiles there either and he did not want his daddy to let go of him.

OK - Quick Update, Braydon did NOT start childcare today at the YMCA...... He will start tomorrow at La Petite. There was a communication misunderstanding between the YMCA & us, and well, there was not an opening for him until this fall! Long story short, he will be starting at La Petite tomorrow. In our eyes, there was some reason and God was there in it, and we may have been frazzled a bit, but we are good with it.

So - Look for news tomorrow on how Braydon's first day was.

Braydon is TWO!

Yesterday was Braydon's 2nd Birthday Party (Official birthday is tomorrow). He had a blast and crashed hard at the end of the day.

This first picture is when he found the gifts and what he did to one.....LOL, he is only two.

Of course he had fun opening his gifts once the party got started.

Yes, the paper in this picture is PINK that would be from Alex, he wanted Braydon to remember which gift was from his Cool BIG brother!

This is Braydon with his Uncle Chris the night before reading his card to him, as they were unable to be there with us on Saturday.....

Braydon starts preschool this week... Big step for him, but a well needed one! We will post on his big day later in the week.
